Brigham Leadership Program VII
October 2017- May 2018

The Brigham Leadership Program (BLP) is the seventh cohort of the program, which began as the Physician Leadership Program in 2007. The BLP is a rigorous leadership development program designed by the Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (CFDD), the Physicians' Council, and the Brigham and Women's Physicians Organization (BWPO) in collaboration with the Harvard Business School (HBS).

The program will be delivered over 9 months and include four 2.5 day sessions on site at HBS and three 2-hour interim sessions at Brigham and Women's Hospital. In addition, participants will engage in an applied-learning project at the Brigham. The program features diverse teaching methodologies, including seminars, case discussions, expert panels, and interactive small-group sessions.

Attendance at all activities is required and advance preparation (averaging 5 -10 hours per module) and outside participation in team projects (averaging 2 hours per week) will be necessary.

Sponsor Recommendation and Commitment is required  to release participants from professional responsibilities during the program dates and times and to support the participants’ share of the program cost.
