The 2019 Brigham Faculty Pillar Awards will be awarded  to BWH faculty in recognition of achievement in one, or more, of the five pillars of academic life: Mentorship/Teaching, Education, Research, Community Service, and Diversity & Inclusion.

Nominations will be accepted Wednesday, June 5th through Friday, July 15th.

The awards will be presented at this summer's New Faculty Welcome Lunch on Friday, September 13, 2019.

Nomination Instructions

Be ready to provide the following prior to beginning the nomination:

• Nominee name, BWH title, department, division, email address and team members, if applicable
• Category for recognition
• Nomination letter describing the nominee's accomplishments and basis for recognition, highlighting specific examples of the nominee's activities and contributions that merit recognition

At the end of the nomination, you will be provided with a link for submitting additional letters of recommendation.  Please send that link to those individuals providing letters of recommendation (please read full awards description, as categories have different letter requirements).

Prior awardees cannot be nominated for the same award. Click here to view prior recipients.

Individuals previously nominated for an award can be re-nominated.  Nomination materials should be updated (with consideration about how they might be enhanced) and resubmitted.
