Brigham Neuroscience Day is March 19

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

As part of Brigham Neuroscience Day, we will be holding a poster session from noon-2pm on March 19. Prize(s) of $500 will be awarded to abstracts judged to be of the highest merit. 

Below are the eligibility criteria for participating in this poster session. Abstracts will be accepted from Monday, February 3, 2020 through Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  A limited number of slots are available, and presenters will be notified of abstract acceptance by March 1.

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT

ELIGIBILITY

• Participation and eligibility will be limited to 30 poster presenters, the applicants will be chosen based on scientific merit.
• Abstracts on any type of research related to neuroscience are eligible for submission.
• The top abstract(s) could be selected for the “BWH Neuroscience Excellence Awards.” The winner(s) will receive a $500 award.
• The sessions will have electronic poster boards. Relevant instructions will be communicated closer to the event.
• Videos are acceptable as part of the poster or can be substituted for the presentation in its entirety but audio is discouraged in order not to distract from neighboring presentations.
• Posters that have been previously presented at national meetings or other internal events are permitted.
• Abstracts MUST be limited to 250 words maximum. Anything longer will be truncated for print. Tables, charts, or graphics cannot be included.
• Authors must also provide a lay summary (NO MORE than 250 words) targeted for attendees without a scientific background. If applicable, include the clinical implications of your work in this summary.
• Must have a BWH affiliation.
